About Me
Sarah grew up on construction sites. She can’t remember a time when she didn’t have a hammer in her hands. As a child, Sarah’s step father, a contractor, frequently took her to job sites and let her roam free where she’d often be found playing with mapping chalk tracing out the layout of the home. Coast side living in Cambria with her artist grandmother also built impactful and inspiring experiences in her formative years. Sarah’s grandmother proceeded to foster her creativity by assigning her to study the works of famous artists; followed by museum trips to see the original art pieces in person. Sewing, basket weaving, painting, cooking, frequent trips to Hearst Castle were the early foundation to Sarah’s eye for design. Mostly self taught, she has been a part of the design industry for 18 years. She has an eye for all things beautiful and takes on each project with a passion for creating a space that inspires. Her goal is always a casual, relaxed, and clean look that is timeless and effortless. She loves to mix materials, modern with traditional styles, and old with new to achieve this goal.
Sarah’s family support includes her husband John and three children. Her eldest, daughter Mia, is currently completing her real estate license while working as our office assistant part-time. Her son Matt, a 21 year old college student, is working part time in construction and her son Evan, age 9 keeps the entire family on their toes.
